PTA Meeting
We will meet in Mr. Call’s room at Mandela and make every effort to keep our time to one hour.
This meeting will include gratitude for and a download of September’s Community BBQ, looking ahead to support and appreciation events for October and November, hearing from MIMS teachers and Student Council, and addressing any needs that come up in the next few weeks. MIMS High School Homecoming Dance
MASQUERADE BALL
Tickets: $10 presale and $15 at the door
Because you don’t have to have a football team to come home and dance!
MIMS Student Council is hosting Mandela’s first-ever Homecoming Dance for high school students (high schoolers only) in the gym.
Outside guests: If students would like to bring a guest from an outside school, they must pick up the guest application form in the office and return it to Christina Stanton no later than Wednesday, September 30th at 4pm.
Chaperones: We are looking for parent volunteers to chaperone or help set up/clean up at any point from 5pm-10pm (ish). If you’re available, please email Christina.

9th Grade Camping Trip
9th Grade Camping Trip
The 9th grade camping trip is September 23rd-25th. Payments should have already been made to the front office if your student is planning to attend. If you need to refer to the informational letter or the packing list leading up to the trip, they may be found here. This meeting will include voting in new members of this year's PTA leadership team, reviewing and approving the PTA budget, touching on the year's plans, gathering ideas, and starting to prepare for the big PTA Community BBQ (Friday, September 25)! See you there!
