Our mission
is simple:
Support

Mandela's Parent-Teacher (-and Student) Association raises money, hosts events, and supports school activities throughout the year.

We exist to:

  • Support positive student, teacher, and staff experiences

  • Bolster classroom resources and enrich the learning environment

  • Advocate on behalf of students, teachers, and the school

  • Cultivate positive relationships among staff, students, parents, and the Santa Fe community

  • Raise money to meaningfully fund the above activities and keep Mandela’s community united in school support

2025-2026 PTA meetings are 5:30-6:30 p.m on the first Tuesday of every other month. Check the events listing for details.

Mandela educators…

. . . teach our kids to international standards with extraordinary levels of care. This takes extra training, extra time, and extra work, and extra money.

The PTA supports teachers with resources that enrich their classrooms and make them feel appreciated.

Mandela students…

. . . work hard to meet the high expectations of which they’re all capable. Their academic context includes diverse classmates with broad interests; and it prioritizes respect and kindness.

The PTA supports students with access to opportunities that open their worlds.

Mandela families…

. . . are all in all the time—whether it’s getting kids to school or checking homework, attending performances or helping with events, turning off the tv for studying or just telling our teens how much we love them.

The PTA supports families with info, camaraderie, and assurance that all students can access school opportunities.
